What is Afrobeats Getaway?

Afrobeats Getaway is an annual four-day music and travel experience bringing Afrobeats lovers together in Durrës Beach, Albania.

Enjoy four days of Afrobeats, Amapiano, R&B and Dancehall, with beach parties, sunset sessions, themed events and unforgettable experiences.

Our next getaway takes place 27–30 May 2027, bringing together guests from the UK, Europe and beyond.

When and where is Afrobeats Getaway 2027?

Dates: Thursday 27 May – Sunday 30 May 2027

Main Venue: Nao Beach House
Address: Rruga Kompleksit, Golem, Durrës 2001, Albania.

All four main event days take place at one location, Nao Beach House, with a different party theme each day.

Official afterparties take place every night at a separate venue.

What are the four party themes and dress codes?

Every day brings a different experience!

We encourage everyone to dress according to the daily theme and enjoy the experience.

What time do the events start and finish?

Main Events: 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM daily
Official Afterparties: 12:30 AM – 4:00 AM nightly

Afterparty locations will be announced at the end of each main event night.

Where are the afterparties held?

Our official afterparties take place at a separate venue in Durrës.

The afterparty location will be announced at the end of each main event night.

Guests are responsible for making their own way to the afterparty venue.

IMPORTANT: Afterparty admission is charged separately and is not included in your main event ticket.

Entry is subject to venue capacity and applicable admission conditions.

Who can attend Afrobeats Getaway?

Afrobeats Getaway is strictly an 18+ event.

Valid government-issued photo identification, such as a passport or accepted national ID, may be required for entry.

Guests unable to provide acceptable identification may be refused admission.

What ticket options are available?

We offer several booking options:

4-Day Full Access Ticket
Admission to all four main event days, Thursday through Sunday.

Single Day Pass
Admission to the selected main event day only.

Hotel + Event Ticket Package
Accommodation combined with full four-day main event admission, according to your selected package.

Table Reservation
A separate booking for a reserved table on your selected event day. This does not include event admission.

Please note: Afterparty admission is charged separately and is not included in the above ticket options.

How much do tickets cost?

4-Day Full Access Ticket

  • Early Bird — £99

  • First Release — £130

  • Second Release — £150

  • Final Release — £160

All four ticket releases provide the same four-day main event access. Prices increase as ticket releases sell out or end.

Single Day Pass: From £35

Hotel + Ticket Packages:

  • Single Occupancy — £700 total for one person, including one full four-day event ticket.

  • Double Occupancy — £900 total for two people sharing, including two full four-day event tickets (£450 per person).

Table Reservations: £50 per table, per selected day. Event admission is not included.

Prices and availability are displayed at checkout. Any applicable booking or payment fees will be shown before payment.

Do tickets cover all four days?

This depends on your ticket type.

4-Day Full Access Tickets provide admission to all four main event days.

Single Day Passes provide admission only on the selected day.

Hotel + Ticket Packages include full four-day main event admission for the number of guests stated in the package.

Afterparty admission is not included in any of these tickets or packages.

Please check your booking confirmation for the exact ticket type purchased.

Is accommodation included?

Accommodation is included only when you purchase a Hotel + Ticket Package.

Single Occupancy: Accommodation for one guest and one full four-day event ticket.

Double Occupancy: Shared accommodation for two guests and two full four-day event tickets.

If you purchase a 4-Day Ticket or Single Day Pass without a hotel package, accommodation is not included.

Hotel details, room arrangements and applicable booking conditions will be provided with the package information.

Flights and airport transfers are not included.

Where should I stay if I am booking my own accommodation?

We recommend staying around Durrës Beach or Golem, preferably close to Nao Beach House.

Our main venue is located at:

Staying nearby makes it easier to attend the events and meet other guests.

You are free to book your own hotel, apartment or Airbnb.

We recommend checking the distance from your accommodation to Nao Beach House before booking.

How do I get to Albania?

The nearest major international airport is Tirana International Airport (TIA).

From the airport, you can travel to Durrës Beach or Golem by taxi or private transfer.

Journey times vary depending on traffic and the exact location of your accommodation.

Flights and airport transfers are not included in standard event tickets or hotel packages.

Do I need a visa to enter Albania?

Entry requirements depend on your nationality, passport and immigration status.

Some travellers can enter Albania without a visa, while others may need to apply in advance.

Holding a UK, EU, US or Canadian visa or residence permit does not automatically guarantee visa-free entry in every circumstance.

Please check the current requirements with the official Albanian immigration authorities before booking your travel.

Each guest is responsible for ensuring they have the correct passport, visa and travel documents.

What will the weather be like?

Late May in Durrës is generally mild to warm, making it a popular time to enjoy the coast.

However, weather conditions can vary, including cooler evenings, rain and wind.

We recommend checking the forecast shortly before travelling and packing suitable clothing.

What music will be played?

Expect a mix of:

  • Afrobeats

  • Amapiano

  • R&B

  • Dancehall

Our DJs will provide music across the four themed event days.

The official DJ lineup will be announced closer to the event and may be subject to change.

Can I buy tickets in Albania or at the venue?

No. All official main event tickets must be purchased online in advance.

We do not operate a guaranteed ticket-sales desk at the main venue.

If tickets sell out online, additional admission cannot be guaranteed.

We strongly recommend booking early.

Afterparty admission is arranged separately and is subject to the afterparty venue's entry conditions.

How will I receive my event ticket?

Your event ticket will be issued digitally to the email address used for your booking.

After purchase, you will receive an order confirmation and a separate event ticket email containing your QR code.

Please check your inbox and spam or junk folders.

Make sure your email address and attendee details are correct when booking.

Table reservations are different: They are confirmed through your Shopify order confirmation and do not generate an event admission QR code.

Are payment plans available?

Eligible customers may be able to use instalment payment services such as Klarna or PayPal, depending on the options displayed at checkout.

Availability is subject to the payment provider's approval and terms.

Please check the available payment methods before completing your booking.

Can I reserve a table?

Yes. Table reservations are available separately for £50 per table, per selected day.

IMPORTANT: A table reservation is NOT an event ticket.

Your table reservation does not include:

  • Entry to the event

  • Bottles or drinks

  • Food

Every guest using the table must have their own valid event admission ticket.

Table reservations are subject to availability.

Is transport provided between venues?

No. Guests are responsible for arranging their own transport.

All four main events take place at Nao Beach House, so you do not need to travel between different main event venues.

Afterparties take place at a separate location, and guests are responsible for their own transport there and back.

What should I pack?

We recommend bringing:

  • Beachwear and resort outfits

  • Your favourite team jersey

  • Y2K / 2000s-inspired clothing

  • An all-white outfit for Sunday's finale

  • Sunglasses and sunscreen

  • Comfortable footwear

  • Suitable clothing for cooler evenings

  • Valid identification and travel documents

We encourage guests to follow the daily dress themes.

Can I attend alone?

Absolutely! Solo travellers are welcome.

Many guests attend Afrobeats Getaway on their own and meet new people during the event.

We encourage solo travellers to join our official WhatsApp community before travelling, where they can connect with other guests and receive updates.

Is travel insurance required?

We strongly recommend purchasing suitable travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, travel disruption and personal belongings.

Guests are responsible for arranging their own insurance.

Are tickets refundable or transferable?

Tickets are generally non-refundable for a change of mind, subject to applicable consumer rights and the booking terms.

Approved ticket transfers must be arranged through the official Afrobeats Getaway team and are subject to a £20 administration fee.

Unauthorised transfers may result in invalid tickets.

When an official transfer is completed, the original QR code may be cancelled and a replacement issued to the new attendee.

Hotel packages and table reservations may have additional booking and cancellation conditions.

Please contact us before attempting to transfer a booking.

Can event venues, schedules or DJs change?

Yes. Event details may change where reasonably necessary because of weather, safety, venue requirements or operational circumstances.

We will communicate important updates through our official channels.

Any cancellation or significant change will be handled in accordance with the applicable booking terms and consumer rights.

Is Afrobeats Getaway responsible for flight delays, visas or travel problems?

Guests are responsible for arranging their flights, travel documents, airport transfers and appropriate insurance.

If your flight is delayed or cancelled, please contact your airline or travel provider.

Afrobeats Getaway is not responsible for independent travel arrangements, except where responsibility arises under applicable law or the terms of a package we have sold.
